Festival dedicated to women and mothers organized in Nisporeni
A festival dedicated to women and mothers was organized yesterday in Nisporeni. The event was named "Mother's hands" and it gathered over 30 participants from 30 localities. They all organized workshops, cooked and sang traditional songs.
The festival is at its 14th edition.
"We gave this name to the exhibition, because we thought that we organized it after Easter. All the mothers prepare for this holiday", declared Petru, the priest of Ungheni and Nisporeni.
The households arranged an exhibition of old objects.
"This is an angles who is praying."
The visitors could have bought anything they wanted from the exhibition.
"I didn't even thing that we have such things in Moldova."
"I bought an icon of Nicolae Saint."
Among the guests came some visitors from India.
"It is interesting that all the food is fresh."
The money gathered at the festival will be donated for children suffering of autism.
"Unfortunately, there are many children suffering of autism. We will donate the money for them", declared Ina Maximov, mother.
The previous year the event will be organized in Ungheni.
