The minister of Economy and Infrastructure, Chiril Gaburici paid a visit to R33 road, Hincesti-Lapusna. According to the minister,  Euro-Asian Construction Corporation EVRASCON JSC from Azerbaijan, the one responsible of the work didn't obey the necessary conditions of the contract and was punished.

"The citizens are waiting for three years to repair this road. It should be finished by November of this year, otherwise, the contract with the Azerbaijani company will be closed", said Chiril Gaburici.

At this moment, less than 50% of the work have been done. The contract with  Euro-Asian Construction Corporation EVRASCON JSC was signed in 2014. As a result of not obeying the conditions of the contract, the company will 10% of the contract's value.

The costs of the repair works reach 19 million Euro. The money was borrowed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
