First tetanus illness case revealed in Moldova over past 30 years

The first case of tetanus illness over the past 30 years was registered in Tiraspol.
According to novostipmr.com, a teenager from Suclei was transported to the hospital on May 1, because he wasn't vaccinated. The doctors said he has tetanus.
The young asked the doctors's help immediately after he was wounded, because he started to feel bad.
"The young had throat and back paind. Sometimes, it was hard for him to breath", said Emilia Teisanu, the director of illnesses direction.
PUBLIKA.MD informs that this is the first such case over the past 30 years.
According to the doctors, the teenager's condition was stable over the past two years.
The doctors recommend the parents to vaccinate the children in time.
Tetanos is a serious painful disease caused by bacteria getting into wounds. It makes your muscles, especially your jaw muscles, go stiff.
