Credit per capital almost doubles average salary in economy

According to the site, the credit in economy (banking and non-banking) reached 45 billion lei at the end of first quarter, in 18% increase compared with the same period last year.
The largest share in the market is the bank loan, whose portfolio is 36.5 billion lei, with an increase of 12.6%.
The non-bank credit reached 8.4 billion lei (non-bank companies and Savings and Loan Associations) and registered a rapid increase in the market share - from 17.3% as at the end of the first quarter of 2018 to over 23% at the end of the first quarter of 2019, up 6 percentage points, writes the author.
According to the data, the insurance market recorded a modest advance in the first quarter of 2019, only 3.4%.
