The National Agency for Food Safety announced new modifications regarding the egg purchasing. Starting June 1, the customers will have the code of the country producing the eggs imprinted on the eggs.

The eggs will look the following way:

-the ID of the unit
Example: 3MD YY 001. Here, 3 means the system of raising the birds

MD- code of the country

YY - the number of the district

001 - the code of the center where the eggs have been imprinted

- the expiration date

Thus, taking into consideration the selling recommendations, during June, we will still find in stores eggs with the old print.
