Maia Sandu has resigned today from her MP function. That because the PAS leader also performs the function of a Prime Minister, which is incompatible with the Member of the Parliament one. The announce was made by the PM on her Facebook page.
The other two MPs also will soon submit their resignation notes. It is about Andrswi Nastase which is the Internal Affairs Minister and the Culture, Education and Research Minister, Liliana Nicolaescu-Onofrei.Is it to mention that the Art.70 of RM's Constitution notes the MP function is incompatible with any other paid function, except didactic and scientific one.
Maia Sandu, Andrei Nastase and Liliana Nicolaescu-Onofrei took the oath at the Government on June 8. The law about MP's status in the Parliament (Art.5) provides: 'The MP which has an incompatibility case (...) will resign in a 30-days term from the mandate's validation date, from the function which is incompatible with the MP mandate'.
