Moldovan people to pay higher taxes in 2020, says Financial Minister Natalia Gavrilita

From January 1, 2020, the taxes will be increased. Financial Minister Natalia Gavrilita has announced this within a press-conference.
According to the official, this is one of the main conditions of the signed agreement with the International Monetary Fund. She declined to announce the certain tax increase because the FMI memorandum cannot be published for now.
'-Will they pay more next year?
-Yes. For the wealthier persons we will come up with new modifications in the Fiscal Code. Unfortunately, I cannot give you more information because the FMI memorandum is not publicized now', mentioned the Finance Minister.
Natalia Gavrilita motivated her taxes increase to pay the salaries and to maintain the relations with the development partners.
Recently, the PM Maia Sandu announced that the Moldovan citizens will pay bigger taxes.
