At Asia Wine Trophy 2019 contest, Moldovan wine Traminer Late Harvest of the winery Fautor in Valul lui Traian region was awarded the Great Gold Medal. Other 34 Moldovan wines were gold medals and 21 wines with silver medals. 

With over 4,000 submitted wines, the Asia Wine Trophy is Asia’s largest OIV wine competition and probably the most important one. The contest took place between August 18-21. Judges from all the main importing countries of Asia are present, who term every year the quality and implementation unmatched in Asia. Hence the interest in Asia is growing more and more.
