Geopolitical messages, painful replies to Socialists and President Igor Dodon are included in the electoral campaign of MP Octavian Țîcu for Chisinau Mayor. 

In an event held in Chisinau, he said he was determined to win the first round to duel with Socialist Ion Ceban. In this condition, he urged Andrei Nastase to withdraw his candidacy to consolidate their strength in counterweight with Socialist candidate. 

"The political context has been changed. With the sincere wish not to divide the right parties, it would be better if the people saw the Interior Ministry to carry out reforms", said MP Octavian Țîcu.

Andrei Nastase didn't immediately reply to comment on this statement. 

MP Octavian Țîcu quit DA Platform, ACUM, group but remained within the ACUM bloc as an independent MP. He announced on September 18 that he would run for mayor of Chisinau in the local elections on October 20.
