Moldovan dancers conquered World Championship Youth Standard
Two Moldovan dancers Vladislav Untu – Polina Baryshnikova have become the new World Champions in the competition held in Timisoara, Romania. The pair also won previously the World titles in Latin and Ten Dance, and the European titles in all three disciplines, making it a perfect row of six titles in 2019 for the couple.
In the last competition, they had to compete with nearly 200 dancers all over the world.
After their meeting in a dance camp in Chisinau in 2016, the pair - Vladislav Untu and Polina Baryshnikova (from St. Petersburg) have paired up and traveled around the world.
"After the competition in Austria, we only had four days of training for the Timisoara standard. We managed to perform everything we could", said Vladislav Untu.
Currently, the two dancers work to achieve a performance worthy of the Book of Records.
