Three parties would enter the legislative body if parliamentary elections were held in Moldova next Sunday, shows the Public Opinion Barometer. Accordingly, 27.6% of participants would vote for the Party of Socialists (PSRM), 17.5% for the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) and 7.4% for the Democratic Party (PDM).

The Party “Dignity and Truth Platform” (PPPDA) would gain 3.3% and the Şor Party 2.9% of the vote. 

At present the party led by Andrei Nastase has 11 MPs in Parliament. 

Asked about the political personality they trust most, approximately 15% named President Igor Dodon, 11.6% - former PM Maia Sandu, about 2.7% - Democratic leader Pavel Filip, 2.1% - PPPDA leader Andrei Năstase.

Regarding the low rating of Nastase, Institute for Public Policy director Arcadie Barbăroşie said: He lost the people's trust after his failure in the Chisinau mayoral elections. It's my personal opinion.  

If the presidential elections were held next Sunday,  the PSRM would poll 23.6% of the vote, the PAS – 17.6%, while the PDM – 6%. The other candidates would gain less than 3% of the poll.

The poll was carried out during December 7-23 and covered a sample of 1,187 persons. The margin of sampling error is +-3%.
