Moldovan farmers will be able to export larger quantities of grapes, plums and cherries to the EU, without paying customs duties.
Moldova will benefit from additional tariff quotas, with a 50% increase from the current volume for grapes and plums and a new quota without customs duties for cherries - of 2,000 tons.
This was approved today by the Foreign Policy and European Integration Commission.
Besides, trigger volumes for wheat, barley, corn and processed cereals will be increased, as well as the quota of ethyl alcohol.
In turn, Moldova will gradually increase the volume of tariff quotas for goods originating in the EU in the case of pork and poultry, dairy products and sugar.
