Over 70 ha of land caught fire in the last 24 hours. The firemen extinguished over 28 fires in many district of the country. The most affected was a 20 ha surface from Cobilea village, Soldanesti district.

The the edge of Ungheni town, a five ha land from Sipoteni village caught fire. Other land from Cimislia, Cahul and Chisinau were extinguished.

According to the General Police Inspectorate for Emergency situations of MAI, in the conditions of reduced humidity, the flames are spreading fast.

People are urged not to set the trash on fire. In an emergency situation, they should call 112 service.
