A 5-year-old child was hospitalized after falling from the second story of his home. The incident took place yesterday, in Gura Galbenei village, Cimişlia district.

According to the police, the boy leaned on the insect screen, that gave out under his weight. At the time, both of his parents were working in the garden.

The child was immediately taken to the regional hospital from Cimişlia, having undergone a spine surgery. 

Police are investigating the case to establish if the accident was caused by the parents' carelessness.
