A 5.0 magnitude earthquake struck this evening Buzău- Vrancea, wrote digi24.ro.

The quake hit at a depth of 144.738 km at 20:15 local time. The earthquake took place near the following cities: Covasna (12km), Întorsura Buzăului (25km), Târgu Secuiesc (27km), Nehoiu (35km), Sfîntu Gheorghe (52km).

It is considered to be the stronger so far this year. In March, another 4.4 magnitude earthquake struck the region.
