Last night, on Chișinău - Hâncești highway, near Dănceni village, Ialoveni district, a 57-year-old man was hit by a car while illegally crossing the street.

According to the Police Inspectorate from Ialoveni, the 24-year-old driver could not avoid the impact due to low visibility.The breath test has shown that the driver was sober.

The victim was from Sociteni village, Ialoveni district.

Law enforcement are investigating all circumstances. If found guilty, the young man risks a criminal file.
