600 children will spend this vacation in "Poienița Însorită" summer camp from Miciurin village, Drochia. The camp has opened its gates for visitors last week and children are already enjoying the offered activities.

Already, 174 children are spending their times in the camp:

"This is already my 7th or 8th year in a summer camp. I love the food here and how we spend our time. Everything is planed."

"Various games, competitions, races, concerts."

"This is my first time in this summer camp. I have been to others, but I like this one the best."

"I love the different activities, we gain rewards."

"The children are happy and well fed, they spend their time doing various activities depending on their taste" supervisor Rodica Marcu declared.

The camp's director declared that the recreation zone needs some repair works, while children dream of a swimming pool.

"Our summer camps needs some investments for reconstruction. The houses are rather old, over 30-year-old. Children wish for a swimming pool and bathrooms in the houses" director of Poienița Însorită summer camp, Aliona Râbac said.

PDM deputy Corneliu Padnevici, who visited the summer camp, promised that financial sources will be identified for its modernization.

"After this exercise has been carried out based on the decision of the district council, it will be possible to submit to several embassies, in several interested investment projects, to attract investment to modernize the Poienița Însorită summer camp" PDM deputy Corneliu Padnevici said.

A spot in the summer camp located in Miciurin village costs 1 350 lei. Children from the district benefit from a 50% discount, while those from vulnerable families can spend their time there for free.
