Over 160 women from 750 who have received free breast screening need further analysis. They will go through extensive mammologist investigations to exclude any risk.
Meanwhile, the ambulance clinic arrived in the village of Teleseu in Orhei district, where dozens of people were checked.
Among them was Tamara Samardac, 63, who managed to win cancer a few years ago.
"I have had problems with the lip. It is very good for retirees, for all that they can do such an investigation to check their health and thank you for coming to our town", said Tamara Samardac, a patient.
Women who came to control wanted to take the opportunity to check their health:
"We decided to do this investigation for the first time. We need to take care of our health". It is good that they came here, we do not have to go far for this control".
"We have to do prophylactic checks, because this disease is progressing rapidly. A colleague learned in August that he suffered from this disease and in one month a breast was extirpated."
The mobile medical cabinet has a state-of-the-art device. Investigation takes only 15 minutes.
"After we investigate the patients, we pass the data to Chişinău at the Oncological Institute, where the investigation follows and the results are sent here to the family doctors, and they are directed to the Oncological Institute," said Marin Bostan, a radiologist.
The second phase of the "A Doctor for You" campaign was launched on October 11 at the initiative of Prime Minister Pavel Filip.
