A land of 16 hectares from the edge of Ialoveni city was returned to town hall management
Said and done. The 160-hectare plot of land on the edge of Ialoveni, which has been in the cradle for many years, has again come to the City Hall.
Parliament voted in two readings on a project whereby the land managed by the Viticulture Research Institute so far has been given back to local authorities.
The Ialoveni administration intends to build a new neighborhood on this land and to provide young families with lots for housing construction.
This is where the number of inhabitants grows and the city needs to be expanded. To solve the problem, local elected representatives appealed to the Minister of Education, Culture and Research, Monica Babuc, who in turn sent a request to parliament.
"We tried to intervene through the mission that we have in the government, to take into account the requests of the citizens, and in my capacity as minister I made a request to the deputies in the Parliament." Sergiu Sârbu, who has elaborated a legislative initiative for amending the law in respect of agricultural land that targeted this transmission".
