A Moldovan and a Romanian citizen are being prosecuted for trying to cross the border with false documents.
In the first case, a minibus driver on the Moldova-Germany route approached for checks at the Sculeni crossing. Following control, a false driving license was found among the driver's personal objects.
The 22 years old driver said he did not know about the findings, because the employer of the company he was employed asked him to send the act to an unknown person on the territory of Germany.
Another incident was reported at the Leuseni crossing point. A Romanian citizen who was driving a car with Bulgarian license plates approached the checks. Following the inspection, it was established that the car registration certificate is false.
The 60 years old driver said he was a publisher legally obtained a couple of weeks ago.
Both documents were raised and sent to expertise, and drivers each risk a fine of up to 32,500 lei, unpaid community work from 150 to 200 hours, or up to two years in prison.
