A new life campaign arrived in Cantemir district. The mothers of the newborns received presents from Edelweiss foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc. The team of the foundation brought the famous present boxes.

"Hello. Here you have a present from Edelweiss foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc."

The first toy of Magdalena was offered by Edelweiss foundation.

"You will grow up and play with the teddy bear."

"We didn't manage to buy toys and these will be of a great use."

The Cantemir maternity ward benefits of present boxes since March. The beneficiaries say that this is an important present.

"The women from this maternity ward received over 170 present boxes. These are very useful for them", said iurieMihaescu, the director of Cantemir hospital.

A new life campaign of Vlad Plahotniuc's foundation, Edelweiss was launched two years ago at the Institute of Mother and the Child. Now, the campaign is evolved in 24 maternity wards all over the country.

"We are glad to be here. We are very happy that Edelweiss foundation initiated this campaign and now we can pay visits to the maternity wards", said Lidia Cucos, the deputy director of Edelweiss foundation.

Almost 15 thousand newborns benefited of present boxes till the moment.
