A policeman within the Police Sector no. 4 of the Buiucani Police Inspectorate was detained by CNA officers and anti-corruption prosecutors, suspected of passive corruption. According to the denouncer, the policeman would have asked for 400 euros to make a favorable decision on the materials he was handling.
The denouncer claims to be in litigation with his concubine, the misunderstandings between the two arriving on the cop's table. To be part of the man, the policeman would have asked 400 euros.
A criminal case for passive corruption has been initiated in this case, and if found guilty, the sectorist risks up to 7 years in prison or a fine in the amount of up to 300,000 lei.
Currently, the suspect is in the CNA isolator, being detained for 72 hours.
