A Primary school in Ţepilova village to be reopened after optimization
A primary school in Ţepilova village, Soroca district will be reopened tomorrow after being ceased in 2016 as a consequence of optimization.
Pupils and their parents along with teachers came today to finish the last preparation.
In order to reopen the school, the heating system was switched on.
Students say they are happy to go to school in the village. They have already chosen their banks.
"I'm glad I will come to this school. I will make many friends."
Elena Mînzat worked in this school for 21 years but after school optimization she had to work in kindergarten in the neighboring village.
"There must be a school in each village where the local children can attend classes. It's very good that we can hear again the bell ring and the children can go to school tomorrow", said Elena Mînzat, teacher at the village of Ţepilova.
The mayor of the locality assures that students will benefit from all the necessary conditions for studies.
"We are trained and we are looking forward to our children at school, we are assured with teachers and with non-academic staff. As you can see, the school is warming up, we are fully prepared, "said the mayor of the village of Ţepilova, Valentina Ceban.
The primary school in the village of Tepilova was closed in 2016, and then it was attended by more than 30 students.
Recently, the Ministry of Education announced that the institution will be reopened together with two other schools in Orhei and Hânceşti districts.
The decision was taken after a working group analyzed how the optimization process took place.
Experts have found that in these cases savings have not been made and school closures have had a negative impact on the community.
