A 22-year-old young man has been guilty of committing child trafficking and child pornography. Magistrates in Cahul condemned 17 years of imprisonment.
The prosecution of this case was conducted by Prosecutors of the Prosecutor's Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Causes, who also accused the court.
The investigation found that the defendant became aware of social networks with 5 minors aged between 9 and 16, carrying with them obscene discussions about sexual relations and asking them to send them in electronic form intimate pictures , which was accomplished by them.
Subsequently, for the purpose of non-commercial sexual exploitation, abusing victim-vulnerable vulnerability by using the same computer system and threatening to disclose confidential information to the family or others, and creating false profiles on social networks that would contain previously captured intimate photos and videos, contrary to the will of the minor, led them to continue to take photos in indecision and to participate in video sessions.
The Sentence has the right to appeal in the Court of Appeal.
