Adagio becomes well known with Moldovan sport-doers
Adagio, a sport based on movements taken from the ballet has become much popular in Moldova.
Irina Pavloscaia is the one who brought this kind of sport to Moldova. The young woman says that fitness based on ballet exercises allows the training of all muscle groups. This type of sport can be practiced by both men and women, regardless of the physical training they have.
"All the exercises are inspired by the movements in the ballet, and the simple elements of the ballet are taken over, which make it possible for an ordinary man to get a slim body and muscles as a dancer," explained Irina Pavloscaia, trainer.
The young woman decided to organize outdoor training to promote this kind of sport: "In Moldova, this sport is not well known and we want to attract as many people as possible, because adagio offers elegance, femininity which we need".
Although having good physical training, the participants admit that they have learned the exercises quite hard:
"Steady-up exercises are particularly complicated because all muscle groups are involved and it is very difficult to perform all the exercises."
"I practice fitness, but I admit it was quite complicated. The exercise is different and quite difficult but the sensation is very pleasant."
Irina Pavlovscaia will organize free adagio training in the next days. The exercises take place in the Dendrariu Park in the Capital.
