Adrian Candu confirmed Democratic Party's intention to align with pro-European parties
''Never say never''. The President of the Parliament, Adrian Candu confirmed the intention of the Democratic Party to make a coalition with the pro-European parties, within the next Legislative. He urged the representative of some parties not to make categorical declarations. According to him, the target of this decision is the prevention of the socialist party in the Government, because those can discredit the European future of the country. The declarations were made within a TV program at TVC 21 Channel.
Adrian Candu referred to the categorical declaration of the PPAS's leader, Maia Sandu. Previously, she declared she won't make a coalition with the Democratic Party.
''I've learned some basis ideas of the politics: never say never, never conflict with anybody, because you never know when you need to make compromises with this person'', said the President of the Parliament, Adrian Candu.
Also, Adrian Candu admits the dialogue with the unionist parties, specially with the National Unity Pary, whose President is Traian Basescu.
''If they manage to raise in the following year, they will have big chances at the elections.''
Igor Dodon, the President of the Republic of Moldova wrote on his Facebook page a message, where he showed his derange about a possible coalition with the pro-European parties.
''We understand that the Government wants to play the geopolitical cart again, in the 2018 elections, to convince the Occident to offer total support. Definitely, they will urge PAS, PDA and PL to make a coalition'', wrote Dodon.
At the beginning of this month, the president of the Democratic party, Vlad Plahotniuc declared within a briefing that the democrats will align with the pro-European parties that will pass in the Parliament. Moreover, Plahotniuc urged the political leaders of the pro-European parties to leave their vanity.
