An agricultural pension in the central village of Trebujeni wants to attract tourists as a magnet. The guests can attend master classes in cooking and admire the rocks of the site of Orheiul Vechi.
The pension has opened after being revamped with the help of the USAID, which allocated half of the total of $25,000.
Culture Minister Monica Babuc says these projects help to preserve the authenticity of rural traditions, cuisine and occupations: "The rural tourism is a means not only to attract tourists, but also to make us known to the world. It’s an extraordinary means to make new jobs."
The rural pension is located on the edge of the rocky relief of the Orheiul Vechi canyon and can hold 16 guests.
