ALARMING! Moldova's main river has much less water than due
The water reserve in the Nistru river goes on dwindling, despite the late generous rains.
According to the mayor of Vadul lui Vodă, a town on the Nistru’s bank, the water level is below 8 meters, a meter less than the due minimum. Swamps started to form in some places, as the river is drying out.
The weather service confirms the facts and braces up to announce a code yellow warning of river-water drought.
