Alexandru Gaţcan named best Moldovan football player of 2017
Alexandru Gaţcan was named best Moldovan football player of 2017. The midfielder of the national team and of FC Rostov has won the title for the fourth time and second year in a row.
The second best footballer was named Alexandru Epureanu, who plays for Moldova's national football team and Istanbul B.B. as a center back. While third place was given to Artur Ioniţa, midfielder of Cagliari Calcio.
Best goalkeeper was declared Ilie Cebanu, while Veaceslav Posmac, from FC Sheriff Tiraspol, best defender. Player, Vitalie Damaşcan was voted as best forward.
The most goals during the Moldovan Championship, 2016-2017, were made by Ricardo Cavalcante, with 15 goals and at Moldovan Championship 2017, by Vitalie Damaşcan, who scored 13 times.
The most beautiful goal of the year was made by Maxim Mihailov, from FC Zaria Bălți, during their match against FC Dinamo-Auto.
Managed of FC Milsami Orhei, Veaceslav Rusnac, became best coach of 2017.
The best foreign player, in Moldova's championship was declared Zigyi Badibanga, who plays for FC Sheriff Tiraspol.
The best team was declared FC Sheriff Tiraspol, while the best veteran team Viișoara Speia.
FC Sheriff Tiraspol has also won the Fair Play award, while best referee of 2017 was named Gabriel Tupicica.
This year, the Moldovan Football Laureates Gala had a new award- "Sympathy vote", where fans named, who they believe deserved the title of player of the year. It's winner being Artur Ioniţa, midfielder of Moldova's national team and of Cagliari Calcio
Moldovan Football players received their awards, during the Moldovan Football Laureates Gala 2017, which took place on Friday, 1 December, at Moldova National Opera Ballet. At the event performed bands, such as "Brio Sonores", "Repede", "Ciocârlia" and "Doredos", as well as singers Anișoara Puică, Radu Dolgan and Iuliana Beregoi.
