Today, Moldova celebrates Romanian language Day. Alexandru Jizdan came up with a congradulation message on his facebook page:

"I love my language. I wish we can say beautiful words and keep our values. Congratulations", wrote Alexandru Jizdan.

On August 27, 1989, over 70 thousand participants at the Great National Meeting voted to declare the Romanian language the State Language of Moldova. For already five years, Romanian celebrate this holiday on August 31.
