Alexandru Jizdan: In 2017 we will continue to fight against corruption
Interior Ministry continues to implement reforms. Last year there were initiated several specific projects for efficient police work. Declarations were made by the Minister of Internal Affairs Alexadru Jizdan during the show Fabrika last night. He also said that in 2017 will continue to fight against corruption and restore public confidence in the system.
"We managed to unblock the process of negotiation with development partners. During 2016,the interior ministry received about 300 million lei money coming from outside. They were used for provision of all services of the Interior Ministry," said Jizdan.
During the show, the minister spoke about salaries and providing employee with housing:
"The mechanism of additional pay for our employees is almost elaborated. I hope that this spring we will have a public private partnership and we will start on Testemiteanu street the construction of buildings that will be service apartments."
Alexandru Jizdan exclusively declared that the Interior Ministry honor guard will soon wear new uniforms:
"Our guard of honor will wear in the near future uniforms the police during Stephen the Great wore. We'll come up with the brand new uniform. Very beautiful."
