Academic staff has been problem that Minister Monica Babuc requires budget of 17 million lei to cover the cost of teacher training.
"Every teacher has the right to continuous training. It not only serves the right of teacher but also state interest to have well-trained pedagogues.
"In 2010, the state assumes the payment by transfers from the state budget to the institutions of in-service training, but the process has changed, and even if this legal provision means a lack of financial means, teachers will pay for the training fees out of their pockets.

Another topic Monica Babuc referred to is about the bureaucracy reduction of teachers' work. In this respect, the Education Minister indicated that teachers had to conduct lots of reports.
"The first problem teachers have to face is the high number of reports they have to present in their institutions. Accordingly, there are 23 institutions asking teachers reports. We want to reduce from 190 reports by 30 percents," declared Education Minister.
Monica Babuc also mentioned about teaching timetable in schools, the teaching hours are higher than expected ones.
"As we know, our teachers have to pass 35 working hours while the standard number is only 18 hours. The fact that many headmaster obliged teachers to remain in school for off-topic activities rather than teaching. We will come up with a governmental decision to help teachers and make their work more efficient. "
