Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure informs that heavy snowfall was registered in the following districts: Vulcănești, Comrat, Ceadîr-Lunga, Taraclia, Cahul, Cantemir, Leova, Cimişlia, Hînceşti, Ialoveni, Basarabeasca, Căuşeni, Ştefan Vodă, Anenii-Noi, Criuleni, Străşeni, Nisporeni, Călăraşi and Ungheni. Snow removal works are being performed, while salt and sand spread to avoid skidding.

All national roads are usable, movement going under winter conditions.

Dangerous routes are being monitored, for fast interference in case of accidents. At the same time, trucks that are not properly equipped for winter, according to the traffic law, were pulled over and temporarily parked in stations, until the roads are not cleaned, to avoid traffic congestion. 

Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure recommends drivers to abide the traffic law regarding equipping the cars with certain items during the winter.
