The ambulance park is being renewed. Another 14 out of 69 vehicles purchased by the Government were distributed in the country.
One of the rescues arrived in Nisporeni.
"The ambulances are old and there are problems both with the apparatus and time of arrival. There are cases when it stops, another team moves or we help", said Gheorghe Gonţa, the head of the Emergency Service in Nisporeni.
The doctors say that the ambulances are equipped with good medical equipment that will allow them to intervene faster and better in emergencies.
"We currently have five teams and four cars of which one is in a terrible condition. It is very welcome this car that is equipped with high-performance equipment with good equipment for the quality of the emergency services", said Tatiana Ochişor, doctor.
They appreciated the cars and the drivers who say that the new ambulances are only good for the roads in the villages, where they travel with difficulty, especially during the cold period.
"Thanks to top management for this good technique for our villages. The roads are bad, but they get out of the way." "The cars are really good, especially during the winter, they do a great job", said Gheorghe Gheorghita, a driver.
The 14 ambulances are part of a batch of 69 cars purchased by the Government. The health authorities are proposing that by 2020 they will almost completely renew the ambulance park.
"We are also proposing to provide 170 ambulances to reach the government's proposed goal in the pre-hospital health care program, namely the renewal of the ambulance park by 70 percent", said Rodica Scutelnic, secretary at the Ministry of Health.
For the procurement of the entire batch of ambulances, the Government has allocated 51 million lei. The last 15 cars will be distributed next week.
