The ministry of Education, Culture and Research announced the final results of the baccalaureate exams. So, 10 616 candidates passed and the number of requests to verify the papers once again was way lower than the previous years.

Anatol Topala declared that the graduates who studied at Math profile had better results than the previous years.

"On Friday, the baccalaureate centers announced the results of the candidates. Also, on July 6 and 7, the candidates made a request to verify the paper once again.

This year, over 18 thousand candidates wrote the baccalaureate exams. Among them, almost 11 thousand students of lyceums, over four thousand college students and over three thousand graduates of the previous years.

Only one pupil cheated. The additional baccalaureate exams session will take place between July 16 and 23.

After the results were announced, the candidates applied 11 558 requests to check their paper once again.

The majority of the requests were applied on Romanian Language- 2 659, History - 2 033, English - 1 630, Geography - 1 495, Math - 1 360 and at the other objects less than 1 000.

The number of requests is less, in comparison with the previous years.

The Math profile students had a result of 7,44, which is better if compared to the previous years.
