The political parties from Moldova who declared themselves to be pro-European didn't vote for the introduction of the pro-European vector in the Constitution. Brussels understood their position.

Also, Andi Cristea showed his disappointment regarding the fact that this initiative wasn't accepted at the Parliament.

"The introduction of Ëuropean Integration phrase in the Constitution is an important step. It is a pity that the Parliament didn't vote for it. I want to tell you that Brussels takes into considerations your actions", said Andi Cristea, MEP.
