DA Platform Party Andrei Năstase says he will quit politics if confirmation is brought to him that he and his followers earlier had promoted the uninominal voting system.

“If you prove to me that, at the meetings of the DA Platform, any resolution in this regard was adopted… We adopted all our resolutions by vote. If we pleaded for the uninominal vote, I quit politics," Andrei Năstase said in a program on a news portal.

"We shall have a new Constitution providing that the president and the all the law-makers shall be elected in uninominal constituencies. We shall not have lists with anonymous people [getting into the parliament]. Who is for it?", a member of the DA Platform stated at a meeting of this party.
