Andrei Tranga businessman is still arrested. The magistrates of the Court of Appeal didn't change the decision of the first instance and rejected the appeal of the lawyer who requested to release Tranga.

Tranga will be escorted today by the Court of Appeal and requested the damarche of the lawyers to be announced in his absence. 

He is involved in two folders - he is blamed of influence peddling and blackmailing. According to the prosecutors, Tranga and other persons blackmailed Viorel Varzari in order to receive some inox cisterns.

On April 25, Varzari offered the first tranche of this money to Tranga and his accomplices.

The money was found within the searches. Meanwhile, a letter appeared in the press, where Viorel Varzari and Grigore Caramalac were involved. This theory is rejected by Tranga's lawyers.
