Parliament Speaker, Andrian Candu attended the launch of the Moldovan-American Business Council at Washington.

Andrian Candu mentioned the importance of the Council, which will stimulate discussions between the US and Moldovan business environment, mentioning the existing commercial opportunities and the possibility of capitalizing the flows of bilateral investments. Among the areas of major interest for our country, the Speaker of Parliament mentioned IT and agricultural food products.

According to him, the Moldovan-American Business Council will strengthen the bilateral transatlantic partnership on the commercial-economic dimension.

The first meeting of the Moldovan-American Business Council took place in the margin of the third meeting of the Moldovan-American Joint Trade-Economic Cooperation Committee.  The objective of this Council is to promote economic exchanges, support investors and support economic operators in the two countries. 

Andrian Candu, Parliament Speaker, is on a working visit to Washington on December 4-8.
