Andrian Candu: Every foreign company that come to Moldova means development for country

Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu attended the 15th anniversary event of the Association of Foreign Investors.
"The Association of Foreign Investors is not just a business community but we are talking about a team of professionals who, together with the authorities, are promoting the best policies to attract investment and improve the business environment", said Andrian Candu.
The President of the Parliament appreciated the valuable proposals that have come from the business environment over time and made a review of the authorities' policies to make the business environment more attractive. The speaker noted that businessmen contributed to regulatory reform and tax reform, pointing out abuse of institutions that might have been involved in business.
"The arrival of a foreign company in the Republic of Moldova means not only money and profit, it means employee education and corporate policy, innovation, science, development in different fields", said Andrian Candu.
The Foreign Investors Association (FIA) was founded in September 2003. This is the first non-profit and non-political association of foreign-owned companies operating in the Republic of Moldova.
The FIA is made up of 18 members from 11 countries, the largest foreign-owned companies in the Republic of Moldova, employing over 16,500 people. The total investment of FIA member companies is about 1 billion 150 million euros. These companies operate in almost all sectors of the economy: industry, agriculture, infrastructure, telecommunications, medicine, distribution, consulting.
