PAS leader, Maia Sandu, cannot help herself but lie through her teeth and badmouth Moldova, using international institutions in campaigns to misinform citizens. She lacks the responsibility and earnestness that she claims to have. Is the statement offered by President of Moldovan Parliament, Andrian Candu, after IMF Executive Director Anthony De Lannoy made some statements on Republic of Moldova, following some declarations of PAS leader, Maia Sandu, during an interview for Europa Libera.

"This person cannot held herself but lie through her teeth, to badmouth the country and use international institutions to misinform citizens. I speak of Maia Sandu, leader of PAS. I do not wish to speak politics here, nor criticize her, but simply express my disappointment, for her lack of responsibility and earnestness she claims to have. It is regrettable that such an important International institution, which is just with Republic of Moldova and its citizens, is put in this position" Andrian Candu wrote on Facebook.

PUBLIKA.MD reminds that following the declarations made by PAS leader, Maia Sandu, during an interview for Europa Libera, regarding the cooperation program between Republic of Moldova and International Monetary Fund (IMF), Ministry of Finance has requested some clarification from IMF's administration, at the request of local mass media. Therefore, IMF Executive Director Anthony De Lannoy offered some statements on Republic of Moldova.
