In the last period, the dialogue of the Republic of Moldova with the United States of America has intensified and increased at the level of a strategic dialogue. On the dimension of the interaction of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova with the American Congress, as ever, the dialogue is at the highest level. The statement was made by the head of the legislature, Andrian Candu, IPN reports.

According to Parliament Speaker, the US administration is trying to intensify dialogue on a number of fundamental pillars: security and defense, infrastructure, commerce, business, energy infrastructure, education and civil society.

"Next week, when I will be in Washington, I will launch an economic platform, a business council of the Republic of Moldova-United States. For the first time, including US businessmen will join in promoting investments in the Republic Moldova or the Republic of Moldova in the USA", said Andrian Candu.

The head of the Legislature says there has been a period when almost no meetings of the strategic groups between the two states were held. Especially in the fields of energy, education, infrastructure and defense and security.

"There have been different people, and different times. Certainly, considerable efforts are being made by the US Embassy in Chisinau, and our Washington team is trying to do more, and we have also diversified ourselves to the size of the Government, and the size of Parliament", said Andrian Candu. 

On the relationship with Romania, Andrian Candu declared that Moldova ranks first in Romania's priorities, alongside the EU and NATO roles for the neighboring state. 

"The Republic of Moldova has always been a priority for Bucharest and regardless of the governing parties, regardless of the people who are in certain positions, from the Presidency to the Prime Minister and, including the Royal House, are also with the heart to the Republic of Moldova, Romania always comes with a special, permanent support for Moldova", Parliament Speaker.
