A delegation of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, led by the Andrian Candu Parliament Speaker, participates in Georgia at the inauguration session of the Interparliamentary Assembly Moldova, Georgia, Ukraine.
The assemblage will have an advisory status and will facilitate collaboration for common security policies, implementation of reforms and proximity to the EU. Among the priorities of the Interparliamentary Assembly is the active promotion of the three states' position on the international arena and cooperation against disinformation and propaganda.
At the first session of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Moldova, Georgia, Ukraine will be discussed security, including energy, frozen conflicts in the Black Sea cooperation with the EU. Also, the delegations of the three parliaments will share experience in combating propaganda, misinformation and measures against hybrid war.
The initiative to set up the Interparliamentary Assembly Moldova, Georgia, Ukraine was launched at the first high-level interparliamentary conference held in Chisinau in March, when the three presidents of the legislature committed themselves to uniting their efforts to promote some common defense and security policies.
