Applications to be submitted for membership in National Bank's supervising board
The Parliament’s Economy Committee starts receiving applications from people willing to become members of the Central Bank’s supervising board.
The new structure was set up last year. The applicants must submit their papers till June 27.
They must be Moldovans citizens, with 10-year experience in finances, law or auditing.
The supervising board will pass standards of internal control, of professional ethics, and will set the salaries of the employees of the National Bank (BNM).
The board will also set the conditions of offering loans to BNM employees, the bills’ design, the rules of setting banknotes in use or of withdrawing them.
