Approved by Parliament: There will be New Directors at ANRE and at National Agency for Solving Complaints
The National Agency for Energy Regulation and the National Agency for Solving Complaints will have new directors. Parliament approved today their appointment.
Stefan Creanga, Veaceslav Untila, Octavian Calmic and Eugen Carpov are the new directors of ANRE's Board of Directors. The four candidates were selected in a public competition organized by the Economic, Budget and Finance Committee.
At the interview, 14 people were admitted. As non-voting observers, the representatives of the Energy Community, the EU Delegation to the Republic of Moldova, the Government and the Technical University of Moldova attended the selection of candidates for the position of director of ANRE.
The files for the contest were submitted between November 30, 2018 - January 16, 2019.
Under the Law on Energy, the National Agency for Energy Regulation is headed by a Board of Directors consisting of 5 directors. The members of the Board of Directors of ANRE are appointed by Parliament for a term of six years.
Also today, Parliament approved the appointment of Anatolie Zagorodnii as general manager of the National Agency for the Settlement of Complaints. His candidacy was selected in a public competition run by the Economy, Budget and Finance Committee.
The General Manager of the National Agency for Settlement of Complaints is appointed by Parliament for a period of 7 years.
Parliament also approved today the appointment of some members of the Board of Directors of the Deposit Guarantee Fund in the banking system for a term of 7 years. This is Eugenia Busmachiu from the Ministry of Finance, Ion Burlea from the National Bank of Moldova, Nadejda Cornetel from the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure and Victor Ermurachi from the Ministry of Justice.
