Are you curious to see how celebration parades were during Soviet time? It's how Socialists carried out (video)
Anti-oligarch laws can be adopted should there exists a stable ruling coalition. Otherwise, our country will be plunged into other chaos and poverty. This statement was one of resolution provisions passed by Socialist Party (PSRM) announced at a rally organized on Wednesday dedicated to the International Labor Day.
With flags on hands, Socialists were marching traditionally on Chisinau streets which refreshed our memories about celebrating parades in the Soviet Union.
Socialist participants started from Chisinau circus and rallied until National Opera and Ballet Theatre Maria Biesu of Chisinau.
"We're singing the songs we grew up with. This is our happiness, this is our past", said a participant.
Dozen of policemen were escorting this colorful rally. Traffic on the road they were marching was also suspended temporarily.
At some moment, President Igor Dodon arrived and joined this march. When they reached National Opera and Ballet Theatre, PSRM leader delivered a speech spoken mostly in Russian.
"I thank everybody who came from around the country and joined this rally. This event is already held in consecutive eighth year ", said Zinaida Greceanîi, PSRM leader.
President Dodon saluted the crowd with expression exactly from the Soviet time.
"Dear friends, fellows, comrades! That's we, Socialists, carried out this rally dedicated to International Labor Day", declared President Dodon.
Deputies of Russian State Duma were ones of honored guests of this event. Vice-President Spravedlivaia Rosia Oleg Nilov saluted everybody, however, in Spanish.
Couple of Romanian tourists showed puzzled with what was going in this event.
"This reminds me of Communist time in my country. Such event is absolutely unacceptable", said a tourist.
Finally, the participants voted for a resolution mentioned in PSRM plans after February elections.
"Obviously we must have a stable governance. We're waiting to see how this bloc ACUM is changing. Unless there are topics for discussion, we will go for early elections. Shall we?", said a participant.
