Natural breastfeeding and premature birth are some of the topics discussed in a meeting for future mothers. The event, organized by a local parenting magazine in partnership with Vlad Plahotniuc's Foundation "Edelweiss", gathered over 200 pregnant women.

All participants received a gift box, containing items needed for newborns.

Ludmila Kadjîbaș, in her 40th week of pregnancy, attended the meeting to gain more information on how to rise a healthy little girl and was happy that she now has one thing less to worry about once the baby will be born.

"I heard that doctors and gynecologists will speak of useful information and it seemed interesting" Ludmila Kadjîbaș said.

"On of the missions Vlad Plahotniuc's foundation "Edelweiss" set is to support women. As we have done in all previous meetings, each future mother received a gift box. We hope the birth will be easy and without complications" project manager, Dorina Postu said.

The women received information on premature birth, advantages of breastfeeding and the importance of a correct died during pregnancy:

"I came because regardless of how good your knowledge is, it never harms to be reminded of important facts."

"This is my first child and I wish to know everything about this topic."

"I came to gain more information about how it is to be a future mother, about breastfeed and found out many new facts."

The gift box for newborns are offered are offered in 24 maternity wards from the country, within the New Life campaign. It is the way Vlad Plahotniuc's foundation "Edelweiss" is welcoming the infants into this world.
