Artur Ionita will play in Seria A for at least four more years. The Moldovan football player extended his contract with Cagliari Calcio, till 2021. The announcement was made on the official site of the club on Sardinia Island.

Artur Ionita moved to Cagliari in the summer 2016 from Hellas Verona. He is the most expensive Moldovan football player. Cagliari Calcio played 4,5 million euros to Hellas Verona.

Ionita played in 30 matches till now. He marked 3 goals in all the Italian competitions. 

At the present moment, Cagliari Calcio places on the 14th place in the Seria A. On Wednesday, his team won on their grass with Beneveto, on a 2-1 score.
