Authorities came to congratulate people with the New Year at the concert held in Nisporeni
A great concert is held today in the heart of Nisporeni. Dozens of folk ensembles and artists took the stage to perform within the concert organized by Vlad Plahotniuc's foundation "Edelweiss". The spectacle attracted many people from all over the country. The stage was also taken by representatives of the Government, the Parliament and of the district, who wished to congratulate all residents of Nisporeni.
"My dear friends, residents of Nisporeniului, I am delighted to spend this day with all of you, I am happy to have been invited to this event by Mr. Vlad Plahotniuc, President of Edelweiss foundation. He asked me to send his regards with the occasion of this holiday. I wish for this good atmosphere to follow you throughout this whole year. The Government offered me the honor to lead it, to make everything possible to ensure that Republic of Moldova is prosperous, but this can only happen with the support of citizens. I wish to congratulate everyone with this New Year, with Christmas, we will continue to do everything within our power to make sure that children from Moldova will not fear for their future. Happy New Year!" Prime Minister Pavel Filip said.
"Winter holidays are beautiful because we have the occasion to spend time near our beloved ones. I am both delighted and honored to be here today, along with my colleagues and wish to express my gratitude toward the organizers, toward the president of Edelweiss foundation, Vlad Plahotniuc. We, people of Moldova are special, we have the chance to celebrate twice the winter holidays, but regardless of which one you prefer, holidays must be spend in a good atmosphere. I wish everyone happy holidays. Happy New Year!" President of Moldovan Parliament, Andrian Candu said.

I wish to express my gratitude toward the president of Edelweiss foundation, Vlad Plahotniuc, for his many actions to support our culture, which not many people speak of often, for helping to publish books, assisting national artist, filmmakers and actors. On this day, when God blessed us with snow, I wish everyone from the bottom of my heart a Happy New Year. Always know that everything that we do is done for you. Happy New Year everyone!" minister of Education, Culture and Research, Monica Babuc said.

"Guests and citizens from Nisporeni, if to this moment we had to go to Chisinau to see such a Christmas tree, a Santa Claus, or amusement park, today, all this we have here, at home, we manged to bring everything over the past week, so that everyone will enjoy the holiday. This could not have been possible without the support of Vlad Plahotniuc's foundation Edelweiss who brought the winter holiday magic to Nisporeni. Further the stage will be taken by Antonia and 3rei Sud Est. The star guests being Carla's Dreams.
The Christmas Fair was organized by Vlad Plahotniuc's foundation "Edelweiss". Its gates will be opened for visitors until 31st January.
