The Autosalubritate Registry of Chisinau wants to buy 12 new waste trucks. According to the interim manager of the company, Eugeniu Axentiev, the 52 transport units are worn out and do not cope with the workload. A draft decision in this regard was approved today at the session of the Chisinau Municipal Council.

To buy the transport units, Autosalubritate Registry Chişinău has to contract a loan of seven million lei. In addition to borrow money, the institution will also use its own financial resources.

"Taking into account the fact that the technical condition is deplorable, we have 48 transport units to be scrapped, their technical state evades additionally to the expected over one million 580,000 lei for their repair." I would like to accept the signing of a loan agreement in the amount of seven million lei for a period of three years", said the interim director of Chisinau Autosalubrity Registry, Eugeniu Axentiev.

According to Axentiev, the car fleet is always in repair. If in the first five months of last the year almost 3.3 million lei were spent on the repair of the transport units, then the expenses amounted to 4.8 million lei in the same period of this year. Which implies that 15 units per day are in repair.

At the same time, the number of contracts concluded with economic agents increased. If by March there were 20 thousand contracts, then over the past three months, the workload has increased by over 1500. At the same time, 30% of the population does not pay for the transportation of waste. Thus, a debt of 27.4 million lei has been created in the last ten years.

The draft was voted by 27 participants.

This is the only topic voted by municipal councilors because the hearing was postponed, this time, for lack of quorum. Last year, Autosalubritate Regia bought two cars in the amount of about two million lei.
